I agree. Carcassonne has an easy button to automatically resize the tiles to all fit within the board area. Not a big as such, but the game doesn’t appear to display what turn of the phase you’re on or how many turns are left until harvest. You can guess the phase, but would be helpful to display it at the top.

Either as a variant option on existing Backgammon, or as it’s own game.
I used to love this version and the extra variation introduced through then 1-2 roll, with doubles of one’s choice, and extra rolls made it exciting alternative to standard play.
