Now, I discard from the beginning. I consider that, if the 2nd 4 of a color must be saved afterwards, my partner clues it as soon as he/she can.

I don't understand why, at the beginning of the game, when my partner is the first player, he/she gives me the clue 4. What must I do ? Discard the 4 ?
