Re: ELO in the first game: 60/20/1/1 vs 45/15/1/1

It has to do with this. https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=15950 The c factor (mentioned in the linked thread) will be different for Through the Ages and Stone Age. Unfortunately, I don't think that all the implemented c factors are publicly available somewhere. Thank you for ...

Re: Player average thinking time is strange

That is this bug: https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=15494 Apparently if you divide your displayed average thinking time by 60, you get to your true thinking time. Somewhere the factor 60 slipped in where it shouldn't. Time bonus number: Maybe it is the nuber of turns you made? Because for every tur...

Re: Improvements in ELO change computation

I guess when the K-factor is over 20, then c=1 always. When K-factor is 20, it c can be less than 1. It is weird. This is apparently not true as you can see from this post: https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=16001 c=1 in both of them. K-factor was different. All players in bot...

Player average thinking time is strange

See here: https://boardgamearena.com/playerstat?id=88045508&game=1144 My average thinking time is 5428 min. I played only one game with thinking time 90 min. Also, all player average thinking time is 37553.21 min. What does that mean? Also, what is "Time bonus number" and "Reflexi...

Why is total time 1 hr higher than sum of thinking times?

Here is the table: https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=91735089.
Total time: 5:55.
Thinking times: 1:30, 1:03, 1:07, 1:19. Sum is 4:59.
Where did another 56 minutes go?

ELO in the first game: 60/20/1/1 vs 45/15/1/1

So we played two games, here are the links to the tables: Through the Ages and Stone Age.
In both games, there were 4 players, and everyone was playing for the first time.
In Through the Ages, the Elo ratings gain was 45/15/1/1, while in Stone Age it was 60/20/1/1.
Why is that difference?
