The reason you got confused was because Digit code faces similar problems with Orapa Mine concerning the final answer. I haven't checked it's forum, but I am pretty sure that there will be similar complaints there as well. But, it's good to find a solution!

+1 that most of my games go for 4-5 rounds of normal questions and then we both start throwing useless clues around the grid because we both know that if we give one more useful clue our opponent will find the solution on his next turn.
