Re: Error configurar Arena a 3 jugadores

I agree. It’s a nice format but it’s too hard to get a game now. We’re stuck with it for the next 3 months, but I’ve submitted a proposal to the Gurus to change back to 2 players next season.

Re: Dice not lining up?

The only time I have noticed something like this is when I switch my tablet from horizontal to vertical or vice versa.

Re: Another first player advantage!

I've now played 41 games, and the stats are looking more like we expected. Playing first (13): W8 L5 Playing second (28): W12 L16 But still a long way from statistically significant (using chi squared test). What is statistically significant is the number of times I've played second. I've been signi...

Re: Another first player advantage!

I looked at my game history. I've only played 20 times, and that includes when I was new to the game, but my data doesn't support the hypothesis: in fact I've done slightly better as second player. Of the 8 games I was first player, I have W5 L3 (62.5% wins). Of the 12 games I was second player, I h...

Re: Another first player advantage!

Or play n times, rotating the first player. That is what happens in Lucky Numbers, for example. But maybe it would take too long for this game.

I agree that the first player has a big advantage, though I would like to see actual data on what proportion of the times the first player wins.

Re: This game is broken.

I get that it’s very frustrating to have a long bad run of luck. But are you suggesting that the game, or the developers, are somehow picking on you specifically and favouring your opponents? That doesn’t seem plausible to me. If something had changed, it would surely affect everyone.

Thanks for the tutorial, @Nekonyancer. Just one correction: I believe the stars are not scored unless the row is properly ascending. (You said twice in the tutorial that they are scored anyway).

Re: What's your highest record of points?

Of course it depends what score you were on the turn before. So to me a more interesting question is how many you scored in one turn. My opponent MandaThor in this game: https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=791864607 just managed 13.

Re: Forfeit ?

However, when your opponent only needs 1 more point to win, it will auto accept without asking them to accept. So that might also be what is happening. I don’t think this last paragraph is quite right. That’s what it should do — auto accept if you are conceding enough to concede the match — but it ...

PlumRiver wrote: 06 January 2026, 20:49 The other solution, of course, is to wait until you've got good cards and then CALL those all-in bets. Nobody can have that many solid hands, so you might get burned once in a while, but you should win a lot more often than not.
