The skipping temple thing is mostly an issue in non-Crossroads games since that expansion turns the space into hot commodity. Also, everyone skipping temples allows you to tactically enter it to set up the positioning on your next turn. Donating one coin at a time is more sensible with this strategy...

Sounds like a terrible idea. Not only does 4p make interaction and scarcity less important but there's also the issue with Boar being OP as hell in Arena mode.
