Re: BGA_rand is not very random

Fair enough.

The testing you linked did not recreate the conditions that I identified that were the source of the problem.

I accept the challenge, but it is going to take me a bit of time to code such a recreation.

I will be back in touch.

Re: BGA_rand is not very random

I am a professional systems tester, albeit retired. Based on the collection of user experiences there “is” something wrong with the random number generation; or rather, the output of the gba_rand() function that is received by the game in the current PHP scaled environment. This problem is not disco...

Re: Out of time but clearly playing

The problem with your suggestion is that it ignores the fact that you share ownership of the premises and one or two of the others want to wait. In this situation the others should be able to hold the door open just as much as you can lock them, no? Are you suggesting that all of the other players ...

Re: Out of time but clearly playing

First, I was suggesting a second clock 'only' related to the 'skip' button. Second, only realtime games credit time. But the issue raised by the original poster is with players using the 'skip' but maliciously. If a skipable player is truly not playing and someone wants to skip, so beit. But if a pl...

That is how it works when playing real-time, but not when playing turn-based.

Create new Tournament Type: #-loss Elimination

This option if chosen by the Tournament organizer would allow for instead of only one loss in the case of "single elimination" for there to be a set number of losses (2,3,4,...) before the player is eliminated. One issue being addressed here is that almost all games rely to various degrees...

Re: Out of time but clearly playing

Suggestion: The option to "Skip Player" should only be allowed after a set time limit after the skipable player's turn starts. There should be a clock countdown in place of or beside a greyed-out skip button that counts down from five minutes or ten minutes or maybe this setable be the gam...
