Board Game Arena

I use chat feature in most of games, but for the last few days I have not been able to see the words that I post. Are there new rules about the chat feature is broken?

I was playing a real time game. The game was changed into a turn based game somehow. I am not friends with any of the players. I cannot add another turn based game to my set and because it is a multi player game I cannot concede.
How did this happen?
