Why Does This Game Attract Rude People?

Love Letter is such a great game. My in person gaming group loves it because it's simple and fun. For some reason, I've had horrible experiences with Love Letter on this site, which is why I'm taking a break from playing it. I noticed that there's a large amount of rage quitters (3 people quit today...

Re: severely underplayed

I agree. It's a great game. There's a Secret Moon Addicts group that used to be pretty active but no one really plays anymore. Sometimes, we would wait 30+ minutes to get enough players. Unfortunately, once BGA allowed people to join multiple tables, 5+ player games like Secret Moon became impossibl...

Re: Fix the Game Spoiling the Owners of Special Cards

I completely agree. Each player used to be asked if they wanted to play a card, but people complained that it slowed the game down so the developers changed it. It's a press your luck game with secret cards, and seeing only some players get the hourglass means that they have special cards, which rui...

Re: Dragon's Lair -- your feelings?

After playing 80+ games of this, I agree that Dragon's Lair is overpowering. The fact that a card that powerful can be bought in the first round is insane. While I really enjoy Res Arcana, the strategies are starting to become too predictable (I'm guilty of using easy strategies to win, too). If Dr...

Re: Can we stop with the good game when it wasn't a good game?

I said this years ago. Many people disagreed and attacked my personality. They called me sensitive and said I get offended too easily, lol.

Like others said, it seems robotic and impersonal. Your closing remarks should be based on the context of the game - not every game is a good game.

Re: Best and Worst Creature cards

The strongest survival card is definitely Wrong Track. The ability to move the creature token is huge and can really turn the game around. The weakest survival card is Smokescreen. Most creatures usually remember what has been played already, so Smokescreen is really useless. The strongest creature ...

Selecting New Place Cards

The Creature usually blocks The Rover because it is a powerful space, so it is very important for players to make smart decisions when selecting new place cards. Lately, I've seen players choose The Swamp as the first new place card, which really confuses me. The Swamp is a card that helps one playe...

Re: Option to anonymize in-game players

I understand how it can be frustrating to be the target to bit in a game. But i look for it ! Isn't it what Elo and range is about ? Becoming a strong player, show it to the world so everybody want a win against you. If you are very high in elo in a game, you have to assume your status! Ok that cha...

Re: Option to anonymize in-game players

I think BGA should definitely have this option. I played a very frustrating game of Legendary Inventors recently, where it was clear that the other players were targeting me because my ELO is high. In many cases, they were making moves that didn't benefit them because they were more concerned about ...
