at the moment the "optimal" size of logo is 184x184px - that's quite small but the one displayed on the tournament page is much smaller? Could it be allowed larger perhaps? I don't think it would be a bandwidth issue in current times?

Technically, you could play it turn based. Game would calculate reaction times asynchronously and compare after everyone "made their move". Although I'm sure there would be way too many ways to exploit it
