I don't know about the second clue, but in China they have 5 basic elements (probably the 5 petals of the flower-like symbol in the picture) instead of 4 and also they usually connect them with the Yin-Yang symbol (at least I have seen this in some games). So could this be Wu Xing or Wu Hing?

Hi! Only tried twice but I like this new game :) Though I have a little suggestion: would it be possible to arrange the cards in the player's hands so both sides of every card could be seen simultaniously? I know that on each side there are both numbers, but one of them is so small it's hard to see ...
