Re: Card list not so fair... mathematics braining
To come back closer to the topic, I tried to list the number of possible workers combos with each card in order to see which are more or less useful... But there are too many possibilities, 1722 with a pair of workers, 688880 with threesome, more than 2 million with 4 workers, etc. Of course all of ...

Re: Card list not so fair... mathematics braining
I think there is definitely something to ollyfish's analysis. Right. I tried different strategies playing against my wife (well, we don't have children for now ^^) but even starting with two complementary masters, I was always missing one point in a ressource and had to use another worker, just lik...

Variant : you pay workers after finishing the building. Actually it is how it works on real life... It would be more interesting in not being restricted by money and offers the possibility to open more sites at the same time. To add value on making benefits, the victory points could be calculate wit...

Regarding on discussion about "The 1st player advantage in this game.." at https://fr.boardgamearena.com/#!forum/viewtopic.php?f=155&t=11891 people suggest that in a 2-player game, each player must have only one action at their fisrt turn to prevent fisrt player advantage. I don't know...

Re: The 1st player advantage in this game..
first player can definitely be advantageous if there are a couple of masters in the starting labour pool, and an efficient building for them to build with only 2 actions. Regarding the decks it's a bit too conditionnal to be a strategy and so only luck prevail. I tried to play this way but masters ...

Hello, I would like to submit a casual idea in the forum discussions : the possibility to "rate" a comment with something like red or green thumbs or +1 / -1 ; we can see it in many forums on the web and I think it something useful to agree or disagree quickly with an idea and limit the nu...

Among the three "higher" buildings, I think the aqueduc is the more intereting. Regarding on what they cost and the gain they produce, it is the cheaper one.

Re: Card list not so fair... mathematics braining
Beri has proposed a variant, which seems to me more equilibrated Maybe another variant could be about number of actions needed for each workers and not about coins. Because we all play the same number of actions, it is important to save them. Money can restrict your choices but there are no more di...

Re: Card list not so fair... mathematics braining
[...] Masters are overpowered : many buildings can be build with 2 of them. [...] My conclusion : Best buildings are the 16 coins, watchtower and chapel, followed by 14 coins buildings. All the 20coins buildings take too much plays. So the best strategy seems to focus on 14-16 coins buildings (alth...
