Re: Can you plaese bring back realtime untimed?
Why not just use the turned based? Granted, I'm new and I missed the whole "unlimited real time" thing, so I don't really know how that worked. But your situation is exactly what turn-based works for. Yesterday I played with a friend live and we used the unlimited turn-based option - partl...

Re: Could Somebody Explain the Clock?
I was just reading the FAQs for the turn-based and noticed where someone mentioned that for live you have to wait for the admin to launch the game before that "accept" box even comes up. That makes me feel even weirder joining a game just to check the time available -- I'm only checking ou...

Re: Turn-based update
Also, again, add a preference setting that stops the goldurned "Replay Last Move" malarkey. Let us to be able to choose to play last moves, not that other way around, to choose NOT to play them, highly desirable NOT to have them auto load. :ugeek: I would agree with this, or at least be a...

Re: Turn based expel a player
OK, the expel button finally showed up on the one game - I thought it had already been 72 hours but maybe not. However, I have a Stone Age and a Hearts that have never started. Neither of them have the clock counting down, nor is the red bar moving. In Stone Age, the start player has never taken the...

Re: Could Somebody Explain the Clock?
I realize you're "just" a player, and some of my comments are not really directed at you because I know you can't do anything about it. I am frustrated with the lack of information on this site. I also am not specifically looking for just turn-based. I do like playing live games, but I don...

Re: Turn based expel a player
Ditto here. I started several turn-based games and only one of them is being played. The rest are just sitting. There are two which are definitely over the 72-hour thing (and red bar full), but I see no way to expel anyone. I also have a game of Hearts where one person has not passed yet, but the cl...

Re: Could Somebody Explain the Clock?
OK, here we go.... these are all 1/day turn-based. Stone Age: So we started with 144 hours. Fine. No one has taken a turn . The person on turn has 143h32m on their clock. If I have this figured right, when the game started and they were on turn, they would have had a "delay" of 24h added. ...

Re: Could Somebody Explain the Clock?
At the begining of the game every player gets amount of time. This is for making your turns. In turn based with 2 moves ped day it is 142 hours (or something similar) because after 1 week after some player done nothing in his turn the game is automaticly closed (in other real-time game it is based ...

Could Somebody Explain the Clock?
I have clicked on about everything I can find around here, and searched back about a year in the forums, and find no good explanation of how the clock works. This is the only thing I can find that even mentions time at all, from the Wiki: Most of the time, your initial delay at the beginning of a ga...

Re: Creating a table, Timer
It would never have occurred to me that I could change options once an invite was out. (In fact, if I'm accepting games I guess I better pay attention for possible changes.) I also figured it would be bad etiquette to quit the game after people have accepted. But I can try those. I guess I could see...
