Re: Begginer question - win rate

This used to be in the FAQs. What happened to it?

Re: New Profile Stat: Average time to make move.

Perhaps a statistic of logins per day might be a better indicator. Or, if more craziness is desired, there was one website I was on that kept track of the times of all logins, and presented a graph of when each player was most likely to be on. This was suggested elsewhere and was shot down, because...

Re: ELO score

I think I see this get brought up everywhere I go. I also never see it implemented. While I understand that winning by a lot of points seems like a "better win," in the long run it should even itself out. That is, in one game you win by a lot and in another you barely win, or get a tie-bre...

Re: Automatic post to game forum when announcement made to game player group.

Well.... tell me if I'm crazy. (Or maybe don't. ) But didn't we used to get a notification at the top of the screen whenever messages were posted in a group we are in? Or is that only for non-game groups? Seems to me I would always see new messages in my other groups, the Game Tutors, etc. Wa...

Re: Joker rules aply - what does it mean?

And 100 points in original Yahtzee? Around 200 points is usually enough to win a game and you get 100 points for pure luck? Even more insane... Around 200 points is "usually" enough to win? I'm wondering who you are playing. I just went through all my games. The average winning score is 2...

Re: Change in Yahtzee version introduced without warning!

Aren't all people who have played a game automatically in its player group? Yes, they are. But maybe the way you use the site you are just not looking at the newsfeed on the homepage? (It seems like it may be the case for other players too, so maybe we should have some counter or indicator somewher...

Re: We need a "No second place mode" please

That's a personal opinion about how people do and should play games, though, not a universal truth. Amen! You can't decide how other people "should" play. I tend to play for 2nd if I don't think it's likely I'll win, but I do that when there's no ELO at stake, like IRL... so that's just h...

Re: Bigger avatars

But: in contrast I don't think I can befriend with the 'anonymous' avatars (the meeples on grey background). They are ugly by design, so you are incited to change it :) WHY?? The shield thing looked fine. What difference does it make to you whether I pick a different avatar and use it? How can this...
