Carcassonne: The River

I was so miffed when I bought a Carcassonne big box without carefully checking and then found out it id not have the river.

You must have had the old big box. I bought mine in January and it has River I. For River II you need Count, robber... Expansion.

River is a nice expansion with 1 negative. The first player can immediately lay one meeple lying down (farmer?) And claim all the areas around it. This will yield a lot of points as people will, later on, build around the river. It is almost impossible to block that with roads.

It looks like Chrome 68 fixed the Carcassonne issue but broke Innovation for many players. Can anyone look at that?
