The time estimate is way low. with 5 players and getting to 3 wins could be 2 hours
Coup
Re: Coup
So broken right now.
It should be losing players in the order they lose like in perudo, so they can actually quit the game.
P.S.For those of you who want the turn system removed:
The game is online on a mobile app completely free.
It works there and is fun.
So stop complaining.
P.S.S. Celestia as a fun and underrated game.

Re: Coup
Add my "+1" to those hoping a turn-based option will be coming along someday.

Re: Coup
thank BGA for release coup and I will hope I see MOST WANTED GAMES soon
Re: Coup
Thats not the only thing, it also has a rule error:sourisdudesert wrote:We indeed have an important bug on ambassador during the launch but it has been fixed immediately and there are zero open bugs right nowMichielos wrote:Unfortunately its full of bugs and rule errors
A) player A used captain to steal from player B
B) Player C didnt believe player A and wanted to call player A's bluff
C) Player A showed a captain
D) Player A stole 2 coins from player B
however, player B had a captain. Even if he didnt had a captain, he would surely have the right to bluff one to counter losing 2 coins.
That is not what happened, player B didnt had a chance to do anything and just lost 2 coins?
Thats what i call a rule error or?

Re: Coup
I have another rules question about the Captain. Under BGA's implementation, this is how this interaction goes:
1. Player A has a captain and steals from player B, who has only one card and $2+.
2. Player B challenges the captain and is shown to be wrong.
3. Player B loses his last card of the round and goes to $0.
4. Player A gets no money.
To me, it seems like Player A should still get $2, since they correctly stole from someone who couldn't block, but that's not how BGA does it.

Re: Coup
The Ambassador can also block stealing. Are you taking that into account?
According the game rules, challenges are immediately resolved and then the result of action. So looks like BGA is right.

Re: Coup
Wait what? No, the person being stolen from gets to block. This is not a challenge. You can challenge that player A has a captain to steal, and then you can challenge whether player B has a captain or ambassador to block. They are two separate challenges.
