At least, someone with coding skills could easily make simple game called ,,Gomoku,, ! This is game is truly needed on BGA. It is my request for anyone who can do it.

I bet everyone knows this game, here is picture how it looks :

I think it can be more exciting in a game like Yatzee xD

I was watching my games building for me, and I realized that I have more than 50 xD

Wow, I'd like SOOO much to be able to develop at least one of my games that are still looking for a publisher, that is Carnac: http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/103061/carnac

Would it be possible to do that? :o
I can program in C# and ASP.NET and SQL is no problem but I'd really like to give it a try with PHP and JS. Please let us know when it all begins and what to do!
Thankx!

At last, if you decided unpublished games too. I’ve designed five games (boardgames, cardgames or abstract game), you can see this link http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgamed ... -fernandez, it’s my profile in BGG, where all my games are uploaded and ready for download.
Only two of them, Conquerors and 6x6, have the rules translated into English, the others has in Spanish. Conquerors is a cardgame for 3-6 players and 6x6 is an abstract game for 2 players.

In the other hand, I like very much this idea but I don’t know HTML and others.

SonGoku, I think you can already play gomoku online in a lot of places... Other games might be more interesting to add.

As for unpublished games, I'd also love to be able to get some prototypes I've played and put them online, so I hope you allow some way to do so. :)

For people that are posting links to their unpublished games, I don't think now is the time to request them. I would add them to the BGG geeklist for now, or start a separate thread.
When they launch Studio, then you can start requesting people to make your games/make them yourselves.

P.S. - Wentu, if you can program in ASP.net and C#, then it shouldn't be too hard to learn PHP. JS is a different thing, since there's a lot of special cases. Learning the main things in JS should be easy, though.

If you have programmed in other languages learning PHP won't really take you that long - it's really just a matter of learning syntax if you understand programming conceptually. As for most languages, there are tons of free resources online to learn, e.g. http://www.w3schools.com/php/default.asp.

That said, I will also sigh deeply at php because Python, you know, exists.

However, this is an awesome awesome idea - I'm excited to see what comes out of it.

I'm super interested, but am another non-programmer. I have worked on game design and do graphics & audio, plus for work I do video.

I was thinking that BGA could use some video tutorials on how to play each game...? Would make things a lot easier.

Will you open the code of your actual games so we can offer patches? (like implementing http://forum.boardgamearena.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=388)

Thanks!
