SKULL: I like to save bones for special occasions

TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT!

Please welcome an all-time classic for board-game fans: a distinctive, quick and dirty game of bluffing. It is as clever as it is small (containing only 24 cards and 6 player mats) and plays 3 to 6 players.

SKULL!

This game won many awards when it was released : Golden Geek Award, Spiel Des Jahres recommendation, As d'Or Winner, Golden Geek Best party Nominee, etc, etc...

It's Amazingly simple.

Bruno Faidutti write about it into his "Ideal Game Library" article like this:

Skull & Roses is the quintessence of bluffing, a game in which everything is played in the players' heads.
Each player plays a face-down card, then each player in turn adds one more card– until someone feels safe enough to state that he can turn a number of cards face up and get only roses. Other players can then overbid him, saying they can turn even more cards face up. The highest bidder must then turn that number of cards face up, starting with his own. If he shows only roses, he wins; if he reveals a skull, he loses, placing one of his cards out of play.

Two successful challenges wins the game. Skull is not a game of luck; it's a game of poker face and meeting eyes.

So, tired of your werewolves games?
Want to spice up your game time?
The game is working perfectly on most devices, and the graphics of Tom Vuarchex really help you get into the mood.

This game is an absolute legend any board game enthusiasts can relate to.
The Board Game Arena team would like to thank the team from Space Cowboys, the original publisher Lui-Même as well as Hervé Marly, the game designer, for his brilliant game.

Nothing would have been possible without the help of Sunil, our developer, and the BGA dev. team.

Now is time for you to overbid the last player: Will you dare to increase the number of cards you can reveal without showing a skull?
It's all up to you.
Time to get your ticket for the 9th Express!

Oh, also, don't forget that it's the last day to gather eggs around the website.
Have you looked into the Legal stuff, right at the bottom?
Don't forget any pages ;)

I can't speak to the functionality since I'm just watching a game, but it looks beautiful. Kudos to the development team on this one

Excellent! This is such a good game, especially if you have non-gamers in your group.

It acommodates a lot of players, the artwork is gorgeous but it I remember it didn't work very well.

Players will easily deduce when to play and it gets boring after a while.

No Thanks works much better, you never know when it is going to end and the suspense never stops growing.

I love bluffing but I still haven't found the perfect bluffing game.

As far as I can tell there's no way to know who is starting the bidding in the first round, which is a huge problem as you're totally blind deciding what you want to play in that opening round and often just have to go skull and hope you're not starting. Please add an indicator of the start player. Incidentally, this issue also crops up when someone is eliminated and has to choose the player who starts the next round - you can't see who they chose. Thank you!
