GLOW: 50 shades of gameplay...

In Glow, you are an adventurer who builds their company by recruiting a new traveling companion each turn, trying to combine their powers as best as possible. You will roll the dice to activate the advantages that your companions bring you...or their disadvantages. Gather many slivers of light to dispel the darkness, restore the colors, travel the land to reach landmarks, and (yes) score points.

Glow is a tactical fantasy game about dice rolling, card drafting, push your luck and set collection. The idea is to draft the companion cards considering their abilities and how they will work together, as well as considering which dice they will give for the round. After the draft phase, the dice are rolled, and the abilities are triggered: for good or bad. Then players can move on the board towards spots that are more valuable. After 8 rounds, the person with the most points will be the winner!

There are card-drafting, dice-rolling, and combinations. The game contains a lot of colorful dice, and two game boards for two different gaming experiences. You have also to count on luck sometimes, but be attentive to your card combinations, too.

You can discover it now through this link:

Note that you will be able to play this 20 minute game solo or up to 4 players.
Thanks to the game designer Cédrick Chaboussit and the team from publisher Bombyx, you are now able to enjoy this wonderful game on Board Game Arena.
Send your warmest color palette to the developer, thoun, who made it playable on our platform!
A very good thing is that you can also learn the game easily by clicking this link to get to the tutorial : https://boardgamearena.com/tutorial?game=glow
Don't forget that you can help translate it and win some points ;)

We have also heard that an expansion is being currently developed for the boardgame, and will possibly be available on BGA, pending confirmation later this year...

That's it for today!
Don't forget to be kind to each others, and see you on Wednesday. ;)
Take care!

Thanks
The game universe deserve a black & white UI like this, I quickly felt it was the only way.

Oh, nifty! I got this game for my birthday and now it's here. I was coming to think of it as somehow my own thing that only I'd heard of... so this feels kind of like my heart being opened to the world. But in a good way?

We'll see, I guess! I shall look for some games to join.

I was going through the tutorial and noticed a typo on the 4th (last) popup on Day 4. It says "where you encampment". It should be "where your encampment".
Excellent job on the game and tutorial! I think I may go through a solo game or two before inviting my friends to play and suggest they do the same.
