Disk quota

Post by ttwydi »

Hi,
When trying to upload a file to a project folder using winscp I just started getting this error:
General failure (server should provide error description).
Error code: 4
Error message from server: Failure

Common reasons for the Error code 4 are:
- Renaming a file to a name of already existing file.
- Creating a directory that already exists.
- Moving a remote file to a different filesystem (HDD).
- Uploading a file to a full filesystem (HDD).
- Exceeding a user disk quota.

My best guess is that I am exceeding the user disk quota. Is that possible? If not, why am I getting this error?

Thanks,
Jerome

How big is your file? Is this new file? What name? Does it contain weird chars? If its existing file run Project check from Management, if
you close to your file limits it will report

Hi,

It should be okay now (linked to a more general error) EXCEPT if you exceed your user quota.

Hope this helps.
