Hello! I'm seeking clarification on the Great Tunnel special landscape. Once it's in play, how exactly do bonus spades work?

Can I tunnel without a worker cost (and without VP gains) from any structure? Or does the bonus spade need to extend from the Great Tunnel?

You get no bonus spades from the very Great Tunnel.
It lets you use bonus Cult spades, which you get after rounds, to dig some hexes not adjacent to you, but skipping 1 hex. As if you were some faction with navigation 1 and dig across a river.

These cult spades can be used in a distance from any structure.

Can you use it skipping 2 hexes from Great Tunnel, i don't know.
