How do activate a tile's special action? I know #2 Release happens automatically, but I haven't figured out how to use the others. I managed to use #1 Secret Passage once, but I'm not sure how. I clicked and double clicked and right clicked on the tile and I did a bunch of other things. Apparently one of the actions I performed enabled the ability, but I don't know which one. I just tried to use another special action and failed. I guess I didn't manage to perform the right action despite trying.

The game will prompt you whenever you take a tile with a special action, which include directions.

Maybe you are mistaking tiles? Not all tiles have special actions, the tile icon is different for tiles with them.
