Much harder to make it to Elite this season

I've been stuck on Platinum for thirty games. I get 1-2 shields for a win, lose 1-2 shields for a tie and lose 4 for a loss. Last season I made Elite easily.

It's actually much easier as there is no diamond league.

And I think it actually should be harder to reach Elite.

It is just the beginning of the season too, you'll make it.

At the start of the season everyone is on lower levels, so it's harder to gain shields.

Three games today and I made it. I'm not sure why I got so many more shields for my victories today. The ELO of the competitors didn't seem that different. Thanks for the replies.

It’s not based on ELO it’s based on level gold, platinum etc

3 for same level as you, more/fewer if they are above/below you
