Lunchtime games

I've just joined up in the hope of playing some short games in my lunchbreak. I was just wondering, what is the best way of finding a game which all the players intend to play real-time in a single hour-or-less session, rather than taking a few moves a day for several days?

Sign up for a real-time game rather than turn-based. You can also set the speed of realtime play--many players of Race for the Galaxy will set it to fast, which means it's about 7 minutes per game tops.

If you click on "Play Now" you'll see that there are three tabs (or on cellphones three links) labelled "Play in real-time", "Play turn-based" and "Games in Progress". The first of these will take you to games that are available for playing in real-time. So just join or open a game in that lobby. How quickly you will find someone to play depends on what game you choose: some games get more takers than others.
