I was recently charged a 10% penalty for leaving a game early, even though I made every effort to get back in and finish. BGA just happened to glitch out and refused to reconnect until after the game was over. (I tried logging on with a different browser and a different device, but only received a "Service Error.")

Bottom line: Is there any way for this to be removed? I got penalized for doing nothing wrong and this feels unfair.

In the vast majority of cases in the past, when there has been a bona fide service outage from BGA, any time penalties have been removed. However, these have also just been for BGA outages, not from an individual ISP not being able to connect.

It is a manual task to do this, so give it some time.
