How can we get the wheat/cloth mixup fixed?

Post by dhnyny »

At scoring, wheat and cloth get switched with one another. This is a well-documented error that occurs 100% of the time. It seems like it should be extremely easy to fix. Anyone know how to get a correction like this implemented?

By pestering Een or Sourisdudesert.

It is pretty much fixed by you swapping the translation texts. Though, considering the nature of the fix it may or may not propagate to the other languages. If they change the code the translations would be wiped which would make it clear that a retranslation is necessary for the other languages.

Please no!
There is a mechanism for prioritizing fixes that are important to the community as a whole. The correct way is: by creating a bug for it (if it doesn't exist already) and getting many people to vote for it so that it stands out.

There are multiple bug reports for this particular bug, which may account for it not making its way more quickly to the top of the heap.

If there are multiple bug reports, it may be worthwhile for someone interested in getting them upvoted (hint -- not me :) ) to find all of them, and post their links here. That way it will seem important in the bug reporting system.
