Some of you have requested an app! This has been suggested many many times.
Of course, a lot of work has been put in making BGA as it is today with more than 160 games available. Rewriting everything in another technology (or two) to have an app would be quite a huge task and would take - literally - years. Since you can play on BGA through the browser of your mobile phone or tablet, we focused first on making BGA as mobile friendly as possible.
Our bet was that a mobile friendly website would sometime in the future become an app. And this is actually happening! We are using new technologies (Progressive Web Apps and Trusted Web Access for those interested in the technical side) to bring you BGA contained inside an app on Android devices.
Let us be clear: this is still BGA! Just it's inside an app, so it's easier to install directly from the store, and easier to open directly like any app instead of launching the browser first then browsing to BGA. We are pretty excited to get in the Play Store!

If the app is a success in the Play Store, it will bring more players to BGA to keep the community vibrant and growing, and the more users there are on the mobile side, the more we'll leverage new technologies to make the BGA app better and better for mobile users! A note about Apple iOS devices: the technologies used to make this possible are not yet fully endorsed and supported by Apple. We hope they will be in the future, and that we'll be able to have a BGA app in the App Store too!
