Monthly tournament

Post by Jest Phulin »

OK, one of the reasons I became a member is to be able to create tournaments.
I have been trying to create one monthly, but sometimes I slip up.

But, when I do create them, how do people want them?

Both advanced and standard, or just advanced?

Swiss, round robin, or elimination?

I rarely play but I like round robin, it feels more diversified.
I wouldn't play any standard tournament ;)

Yes ! I think the same as Ankezu
Round Robin 2X2 monthly Tournament is a Good Idea :!:

But i have a Question. If you set the Opions for the Tournament
Can you set the Option: direktplay (+time) or only turnbased ?
I think a smal Quarto.2X2 direct Tournaments is a good Idea too,
and if 4-6 player meets to play 60-90 minutes Quarto direkt
and Round Robin System

 NICE EVENT

The way the tournaments are set, there is a total time for each game. This time is divided equally among the players.

I normally try to set up 15-day tournaments. This gives 7.5 days per player, or about 1 move per day (the longest a game can last is 16 moves, 8 by each player). This is just my style. I like to play 1 move per day, and don't want to force someone to get up at 3 AM local time to play in a tournament.
