Time Limits

My first mistake was entering a Yahtzee tournament. They rarely allow much time to finish games.
The start of the tournament coincided with- 1. A bad case of food poisoning for me
and 2. My daughter going to the hospital to have a baby.. The result was a large
number of my games being timed out.. Worst-getting spam emails from the computer
troll GREG!!! saying that I had "left" the game!!! Have never "left" a game in more 3 years
and over 3000 games.. That's enough bitching..

I'm pretty frustrated with the time limits. I've lost several games because I'm in games with members who are many time zones away from me. So basically when I go to bed, they have been playing soon thereafter and I lose 6-7 hours. Is there a way to play a tournament with folks who are within, say, 3 hours of your time zone?
