Cannot capture opponent king

cannot capture king, since the king cant move to places where itll get captured. how do i capture it then?

BGA does not allow you to make illegal moves, so you can NEVER capture the king.

In real-life, if you can capture the king then the opponent made an illegal move on the previous move.

Example of illegal moves relevant to king capture:
- moving the king into check.
- not moving your king out of check, or otherwise playing any of your pieces to get out of check either by capture or blocking.
- you can't castle into or out of check.

If there are no legal moves that prevent your king being in check, then that is checkmate. There is no subsequent capture, the game ends immediately with a checkmate message.

It is stalemate if there are no legal moves (for any of your pieces) but your king is not currently in check.

ohh, thank you for the replies, since im new to bga and also chess, i didnt understand why it couldnt move certain places.
