Add CLOSE button to system messages

Post by ZathrusWriter »

Hey guys :)

THE PROBLEM: it's happened to me several times - especially with new games where I'm not familiar with rules - that when I click on action I can't do, a red message appears on top and overlays all the action buttons. So now, for example with Builders: 1) I accidentally click on an invalid action; 2) warning message appears; 3) I can't click "Take Coins" button - which is a valid option - instead because the red message is over it and takes several seconds to disappear

THE PROPOSAL: I propose that these system messages have a cross (X) button on the right side to allow for manual dismissal, so the game can continue its flow :)

Thanks for reading ;-)

Agreed, and for all system messages.

When I log in from a public computer, the "Welcome Back, Jest Phulin" message covers the notification area (and links) to the games waiting for my move.

OR EVEN BETTER: have such messages not cover a part of the screen where important buttons appear.
