Background change

I would suggest changing the background (which is a wooden panel) for a different, more modern one. You can match a lot with this black and white. In my opinion, the panels destroy the look of the page.

You can edit your CSS to do this. Check out the thread "Pimp my BGA" (or something similar to it) in the news forum. Many people have created their own look and posted links there for anyone to use.
