Let us specify minimum ELO as allowing low ranked average in the game can lose way too many point besides they
often play erratically

Or have a beginner be 1500 and under.

Now , if someone won 1 out of 100, they are average.

I agree with everything except that part about under 1500 being a beginner. I don't like that a "beginner" is someone having yet to win a game, but I also don't want a "beginner" to be someone under 1500. They could've played 100 games be under 1500.

They might be trying to avoid using a title indicating something as below average. ;) Or at least that's what I've always thought. But requiring a minimum, or maximum (or range), ELO is a good idea, for a lot of reasons. If I'm at 1601 and just hit "good player," it doesn't mean I'm comfortable with someone at 1799.

But I think this has been requested before.

Beginners should be started at 0 ELO:
Below: bad player;
0: a beginner, never this number again after the first game;
1–100: average level;
101–300: good player;
301–600: expert player;
601–1000: master player;
1001–1300: super player;
Above: ultra player.
This is my suggestion, players above 250 ELO can't play with the BGA Robots; 1 BGA Robot per game.
