Game Controls?

Does anyone know how to move the game left right on a 15" laptop screen? I am playing at a table where the Galactic HQ is in play. On both my laptop and my iPad, it only displays as a small highlighted area on the extreme left. I can't click on it easily and I cannot upgrade ships when I try to take the action because the ship displays offscreen. I haven't found a slider, nor does fullscreen mode help. Is there perhaps a keystroke command that someone is aware of? Thanks.
