I think click to keep and click to re roll are both reasonable options.
When I first played Yahtzee on this site I noted that it was click to re roll and never get it wrong.
It’s many years since I played on a click to keep Yahtzee game though so maybe That’s why. I think I had one in the 1980s! You have to be careful with click to keep though- does it stay “kept” for roll 3 automatically? If so you have to click again to re roll it and that can be confusing. I certainly found on my 80s game I sometimes accidentally forgot to unfreeze a dice
