Hi everyone, it occurred that a recent tournament, with 4 players per match, was decided at the very last match by a player who quitted the match when another one was running out of time. This left two other players, who could both win the match and the tournament, in second and third place. The decision to quit the game although technically allowed, was clearly taken by a single player and was not shared by the other players at the table.
I think we should decide on some sort of etiquette on how to behave in this kind of situation, because skipping someone's turn has impacts on the standings of the other players too, especially in non 1-vs-1 games. In my view, a first step could be to implement a system where the players collectively vote to abandon the game, as for the case when it is decided to abandon the match.
