Protecting Boardgames!

Post by ThomasCasson »

Hello there gamers!

I am currently trying to protect some old games worth quite a penny!

I thought I would be able to order a custom cardboard box for my copy of the original Fireball Island. But companies either say its too big or they wont custom make 1 singular box.

I really don't like leaving it (as well as some other 80's games) out unprotected, and I would like to travel with them from time to time.

Any advice?

Just a suggestion. Maybe you can find a larger flat box, and put in styrofoam walls.

Say you have an original game box sized 30 cm x 50 cm, and you find a box sized 40 cm x 60 cm(fancy clothing boutiques may have those). Then you put in styrofoam walls on all sides 5 cm thick. Ofcourse your games will take up a lot more space that way, but they'll be protected.
