People still cheating even on larger board size

Post by SluggerBaloney »

I've been running into a rash of people using the 6x7 solver, even on the 10x10 board. They just input the moves until you get beyond the solvers board size and hope the solver beats you before then

Example:

Just an FYI to watch out for. This game is rampant with cheaters.

doesn't look like a sequence to hard to remember.
Also is it just not optimal play? There's not that many choices in this game.

Developer does the analysis and discovers solvers being used
Developer says the majority of players with ELO > 500 match the solver 100%
I play a player with an ELO > 500 and his moves match the solver 100%
You think nothing is going on

Remind me to look you up next time I have a used car to sell.

I am commenting on this particular example.

Just because some people cheat, doesn't mean that everyone cheats all the time.

You should enable opening rules first and play unconventional openings if you think so.
After all, normal mode rank itself is prone to cheat obviously.
Hence Arena mode is forcing swap rule and non-6x7 boards.

Playing "unconventional openings" just lets the solver beat you faster

The game is compromised and if BGA wants to keep it on the site they should add a warning to it
