Sure, but these are texts that are not in the translation system (= in English for everyone)
Oh, ok. Then that's the main issue to fix ;)
Great! :)
In that case many other sentences concerning the Next Season Arena Format are only in English, such as the 7 texts here :
  • "Arena format change proposition: you have one week to decide to keep current format or apply the suggestion. It's time to vote!"
  • "With your votes, you decided as Gurus to keep the current Arena format for next season. Thank you!"
  • "Keep current Arena format"
  • "Vote for this proposition to keep the Arena format as it is for the next season."
  • "0 vote(s)"
  • "Suggestion title (in english)"
  • "Description (in english)"
(by the way the word 'english' should have a capital letter)
Yes, it was at the same place, hardcoded strings have been made translatable (for next release).

Hi!

In this sentence (never seen in another language than English), an S should be added:
 "Sorry, we didn't manage to process your request fast enough. Please retry. If the problem persist, please report a bug."
 "Sorry, we didn't manage to process your request fast enough. Please retry. If the problem persists, please report a bug."

And the sentence could be added in the translation system too.

In case the objective is that everything is translated, these sentences also always appear in English:

An important BGA module could not be found, and your game cannot be loaded.

You should try refreshing this page.

You may also try to switch to another language (English) as it may solve the issue.

Finally, if none of these work, please do the following : press F12, click on 'Network' on the new panel, press F5, take a screenshot, and report a bug.

Get out of here

Thanks, it's a technical error context that should be rare, but since it does happen sometimes, better if it's translated. Done for next release.

all the Status states in the bug tracker are untranslatable.
open, awaiting, confirmed, fixed, infoneeded, etc.
I see that there are translatable strings in the system for these states, but with caps and spaces (Awaiting, Info needed), but I don't think these strings are used anywhere.

Yes, that status is not translatable.
I tried to make it translatable once but had to revert as it broke other stuff. So not so easy to change and very minor, so not something that will change short-term (bug reports have to be done in English anyway to be understood by developers, so any use of the bug reports module needs at least a minimal knowledge of English).

This little bug mentioned some time ago is still alive, at least for German language. Feel free to vote for it here:
https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=70831 "Missing blank/space in string in table overview ${player_name}'s turn when translated"

skoki wrote: 26 August 2022, 22:01 In the meantime that user turn phrase is now bugged in the Polish version. It is well translated with space in "Tura ${player_name}". But on the BGA interface, when you click your avatar in top-right corner, there is no space visible (again, only in Polish language).

I've checked the code, and the space is there, but "display: flex" of parent div makes the space not visible.

Thanks, we'll look into it for next release.

We also had that space issue to translate "${player_name}'s turn" into French, and we did the trick of putting an unbreakable space instead of a regular space.
Maybe not the optimal way to handle it but at least that gets the space displayed where needed.
