1/3 of the background is shaded red for each mistake made. It's not very obvious unless you look for it.
Of course if you are playing with flamboyants and want to know how many mistakes were made including a 'forgiven' one, you'll have to look back at the log.

super not obvious, thanks for sharing this!
Re: how many mistakes ?
not only not obvious - it also is a part of a picture which you never sees completely and that part is very unpleasant to look at. it would be nice if it was possible to just show plain blue vs. plain red without any motive. or instead show some markers somewhere...

Re: how many mistakes ?
The deluxe version of the physical game uses that picture in three parts.
I agree it’s definitely not the best way to keep track of the bombs.
Imo on the BGA’s version it should have at least a title which shows up when you’re mouse is on the picture, displaying a text like "2/3 bombs".
But this is not even a good alternative for phone users.

That's fine, but does it place the tiles under the played cards? So when you make a mistake you have to remove the stacks, flip a tile, and put the stacks back? I doubt many players do that with the physical game.Blacktango wrote: ↑24 October 2022, 16:12The deluxe version of the physical game uses that picture in three parts.

Re: how many mistakes ?
Ahah, of course not!
Players can place it wherever they want, and will probably choose to place it elsewhere.
