Does Forecast not include visibility to upcoming Epidemics?

So, while playing with a friend, I noticed that when playing Forecast, I was able to rearrange the next 6 upcoming cards of the Infection deck, but the game did not mention any Epidemics coming up. I arranged cards in this order:

1 - Khartoum
2 - Essen
3 - Algiers
4 - Mumbai
5 - Tehran
6 - Beijing

But on the turn after Khartoum and Essen is infected, an Epidemic comes up, as can be seen in the game logs.

Is this a bug? Or correct functionality? I'd think in the physical board game, the 6 Infection cards would include any upcoming Epidemic cards, no?

The Forecast shows you the next 6 cards of the infection deck, whereas the epidemic cards are part of the player deck. So this is no bug.

This is why you should almost always play the forecast card very soon after an epidemic.
