None Shall Pass! is now in alpha

Post by KendraPacker »

None Shall Pass! is now in alpha!

In None Shall Pass!, choose from guards with unique and powerful abilities, then stand together with your fellow guards to stop monsters, level up, and prepare for the final fight. But work quickly, or the monsters will breach your defenses, and all will be lost.

This 4-player cooperative game has been loved by light game players and hardcore D&D players alike. All the fun of picking a class and fighting monsters with the dice deciding your fate, but you can pick it up and play anytime.

Alpha games don't get forums - presumably because there's no guarantee a game in Alpha will ever make it to full release.

The forums usually appear once the game goes to Beta.

I know that two bug suggestions for a display of the other team member ability cards has already been turned down by the developer, but not being able to see the other player abilities goes against the BGA Studio Guidelines (en.doc.boardgamearena.com/BGA_Studio_Guidelines) which state that an adaptation of a game must abide by the following:
- Fidelity to the original game is an absolute requirement.
- Don't try to create a video game: make your game interface as close as possible to how the original board game looks like.
- Don't hide game elements behind menus, submenus, dialogs, etc, but display them directly on the main page.
- Every information visible by players in the real game should be accessible in the adaptation.

I really hope that the developer can give us a better option than the hover tip on the die faces because I had no idea it was an option when on mobile.

Please vote for this bug report if you feel the same!
