Reposting is not respecting the netiquette of a forum.
I am not reposting, I am telling my story

A pretty freaking strong chess player tried this website, I think good to know

Also having more people complain is a good thing -- maybe new players will see a fresh post, maybe someone amongst developers would finally get into it

I don't see why would you react in such a negative and defensive way to my friendly post
Just go somewhere else if you don't like it here!  ;) Instead of complaining.

No, they won't. If they wanted, they would have this done years ago. You are not special.
Your negative attitude escalated quickly, wow. As for myself, I thank iururu for that fresh post, wouldn't have found out otherwise.

You, basically, didn't lose any second browsing the forum and looking for the same topic.
If you did (and had more respect for the forum users) you would have found pretty other topics to merge your discussion in.
Glad you're no forum mod.

While you write on the same forum I do, yes they are.
Very glad indeed.

@Ricozoo I suggest you study the Smith–Morra Gambit, it's a very practical (and fun!) choice for white. FMs have played it against me in serious OTB games.
Gambits, however dubious, are very common in online play with short time controls. Accepting such a gambit requires you to know the theory inside out and to play with high accuracy once your memorised lines stop!
..for some reason everyone plays the Benko gambit in online blitz - and it's more dubious than the Morra imo..

There are many dead giveaways a player is cheating that @iururu mentioned. Another giveaway is to look back at their game history and see the incredible difference in the quality of their play.

As @Een said, in the description on BGA:
"competitive modes are disabled due to helper software being easily accessible online for this game; our adaptation should be considered appropriate for initiation and casual play, not for competition."

So if you're not a beginner, use another site! e.g. *

I have an actual rating of 1500 USCF http://www.uschess.org/msa/MbrDtlMain.php?16239897
So people think I cheat but I dont. Sometimes I come here to have fun.

Other than as a fun novelty, people should not be playing chess on BGA. There's just better places to play it. I played like 4 games so far just for kicks.

* or *, take your pick.

Any other site to play chess on is whack.
