Official variant rules

Post by PurpleCube »

Is there any chance of getting some of the variant rules proposed by the creator implemented as options? In particular:

> 1 point per captured card rather than 1 for 3/5/7/9 and 2/3/5 for wilds
> game ends after a certain number of hands rather than after a certain points threshold is reached

And this is a stretch, but the creator has said he prefers the new rules for 3p Haggis (Haggis and Tatties) - which is a bigger overhaul than the other two suggestions but it would be cool to see.

From what i remember from reading the designer, this variant will only be considered official when released physically.

The new 3p rules are very good and a big improvement, it's almost like a new game.

Working on it. There will be also quite a lot of UI changes.
4+ player modes will not be implemented though as they are more prone to collusion and team games still suffer from ELO issues.
I tried to add them as training mode only options, but turned out to be impossible for now unfortunately.

Haggis and Tatties (the new 3p mode) is online. I think I've done everything I can. Have fun :)
