Action on character card #2

Hello, it seems BGA gives 2 coins to the owner of the card, where as it's written the owner has to choose someone else to gain 2 coins. Am I missing something ? Special 2-player rule ??

There is no issue with the rules here. The coin animation for the bard (2) is misleading since it uses the same coin animation as all the other characters and seems to send the coin your way. However, the coin is really sent to the other player. In a 2 player game, this is done automatically.

This was my 1st impression. But I noticed I didn't loose any coin when placed the bard. Instead I gained. Will have to check this again.

I confirm that the player who uses the bard gets 2 more coins.

Also, just to clarify, you aren’t supposed to loose any coin, the other player should gain them from the supply

I have seen the issue too in a 3 players game.
The player who plays the Bard (#2) receives the coin instead of the selected player.
So the scoring during the game is wrong.
However the final score is right and the 2 points return to the originally selected player after final score calculation.
