Let me start this with I am clearly capable of reading. I do however enjoy having the instructions read to me so I can focus on what the screen is showing me. That way as it is being read, I can look at what they are talking about. When I read it I have to sometimes go back and forth between the tutorial wording and the game that it's showing me. I know IRL we read the rulebook ourselves and there is no narrator, unless you are playing with multiples, but it'd be nice to have on here.
