It would be really great if Can't Stop allowed for the "Can't Stop - Can't Stop" variant. In short, a player MUST roll again if theyre resting on another players "save progress" pawn. This is true even if one has advanced to the top during their turn. When * had the game, it was the only way I'd play it. Face to face it's certainly my preferred ruleset.

For a slower variant, try "Blocking", where players are not allowed to end their turn if one of their markers is on top of another player's marker. Note that this variant makes it very difficult to pass a player with an established position on the columns on the side of the board (like 2 and 12).
