How to Save a Campaign?

Can someone help with how to save a campaign to continue at a later day? I tried to do this and the game was abandoned. Thanks

AFAIK it's all automatic.
You'd need the same group of players. When you start a new game, there is a game option to continue the campaign OR start a new campaign.
