White advantage

White advantage has been been acknowledged and should be dealt with, so that it is reduced to say no more than 52-53% victory rate (like chess).

2 suggestions so far:
A) Prevent White from playing 2 Squares in a row on the first two turns.

B) Black has 1 less Square and 1 more Circle (or 1 more Triangle)

Any other ideas besides C) Combining A) + B) ?

A) can be tried in the current config of the game. It does counterbalance a little bit, but enough so?

Option A) has been implemented and 1st player win rate has dropped a little bit (around 56.5-57%)

For your information, 1st player win ratio has dropped to 51,15 %. Which seems pretty reasonable

Could the 'pie rule' be implemented?

I don't think it would be useful, since White's advantage seems pretty much dealt with since the rule of not being able to play 2 squares in a row as your first 2 moves has been implemented.
And the advantage does not come from playing first, but from playing a square first (the pie rule wouldn't prevent the 2nd player to do so).

Having played some amount of games I must say the white advantage is still enormous. Even more, I am sure white still always wins with the right play.
