equipper OCC and blueprint minor imp. interaction

Question about interaction:

1. played the occupation "equipper" (after wood accumul., you can play a minor improvement)

2. played minor improvement "blueprint" (Joinery, Pottery, and Basketry can be played even when taking a Minor Improvement action)

I took wood accumulation ("Grove") and expect that I can then take one of Joinery, Pottery, and Basketry.

But my expectations were not met. I could only play a minor imp. from the cards in my hand.

Is this an error?

I don't think it is an error.

Blueprint allows you to play a guild (Joinery/Pottery/BMW) when taking a minor improvement action. But Blueprint does not turn these cards into Minor Improvements and Blueprint does not allow playing the guilds unless it is done as a minor improvement "action", so it doesn't work on a wood accumulation space. It doesn't combo with Equipper.
